Love Poem

“Springtime Love”

I don’t know how to make a friend,

but I am a great lover.

Even when things engulf me,

I always seem to recover.

And so I see you,

this lovely spring morning.

In the distance, I see church spires.

They’re such little things

compared to my desires.

Come on, you lovely girl!

Let’s marry!

Before our springtime love

expires!
